Good Sharing Platform

Frame.io provides an excellent sharing platform. The UI still needs a little work to be fully production-quality, in my opinion, but the web interface is very nice. It beats other cloud sharing platforms hands-down. The developers are also very responsive.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is that the UI currently doesn’t support uploading directly to subfolders in a project, nor did the installer successfully integrate the export profile into Final Cut X for me. The developers did, however, quickly point me to instructions to manually create the export profile manually, so I’m able to fully utilize the application. Neither one of these issues is enough for me not to fully recommend the app. It’s pretty cool.

The ability to add frame-specific comments on the videos is awesome.
